Thank You

Hi there everyone,
Hope everyone is having a wonderful fun and relaxing holiday weekend.

For all you digi lovers out there, are you familiar with the Ppinkydolls Art? They are located here over at Etsy and there are a lot of the cutest little girls in the world in this shop.

I made this card using this little cutie. Thought you'd like to see it.

I received this free image by joining in the Outlawz Progressive Challenge. This image is adorable isn't it!

Getting started, I used Color Burst on some water color paper and cut a large circle.I mounted that to the pink shimmer CS panel. I added a strip of DP next to the circle. Then I mounted the two landscapes onto it. Next I added the flowers and the leaves and the colored digital image. I cut a tag shape and stamped the sentiment. I added a ribbon and a bow then tucked the tag onto the ribbon.

Next I mounted the finished pink shimmer panel to the cream card and the card is done.

    It's a Guy Card

    Hi Everyone,

Do you like Stampscapes??? I love that look.
Janet Winkle teaches the Stampscapes technique and was in town with 4 classes so I signed up for one. Janet works and teaches at Scrapbook Superstore in Sevierville TN. Also a few times a year she comes up to our area and offers classes. She will be back again in a few month with more classes at Stampaway so if you get a chance, sign up for one of her classes, you won't be disappointed.

I want to share one of the cards I made in her class. This was a refresher class for me. I took  one of Janet's Stampscapes classes last year and felt like I needed to refresh my memory, old brains need help at times, ya know(LOL). Plus I just love this design.

Stampscapes had always intimidated me and after the class last year, I got over that.  This card is the perfect design for a Fathers Day, birthday any other occasion for the male on your list. Lots of layers make this tie shaped design just POP.

I am submitting this card to the following challenges:

  • Brown Sugar –  No. 146 - Father's Day (#11)
  • Wags 'n Whiskers - No. 154 - (W1 of 2) -  Lots of Layers (#25)
  • Inspiration Destination - #33 Always Anything Goes  (#125)
  • Wonderful Wednesdays -   Always Anything Goes (#3)
  • Party Time Tuesdays - #198 - Anything Goes (#82)

  • I have two more card designs to share with you from my class  this week.Stay tuned for those.

    Paris

    Hi Everyone
I have been playing in my studio today and wound up working with a new 12X12 piece of embossed paper from Canvas Corp. This floral sheet was a creamy color and was just calling my name so I bought it and looked at it for a few days before I decided what to do with it.

Well I have been working on a project using Pan Pastels so since those were on my desk, I decided to color with those.

Then after the coloring was done, I wanted to use an image that did not compete with the paper, so I decided on a stamped Eiffel Tower image and a tag and a really fluffy bow, all from my stash.

    Hi Everyone,

WOW, four months down. April has flown by and now we are into May. It's the first Tuesday of the month and that means its my turn to post for Craft-Dee BowZ. The designers were given a theme this month -  Spots and Dots. I made a collage image a while back and it was just waiting to be used. I decided to use a purple ribbon then I picked up a polka dot paper pad while I was in Tennessee giving me this beautiful purple polka dot paper. And this collage fit the bill and the card just came together.

My Projects for Mema's Crafts for May

    May Theme - Anything Goes

    Hi Everyone,

It's the beginning of May and that means it time for Mema's Challenge for May. This month sponsor is  I Brake For Stamps.

I decided to use an umbrella image from I Brake for Stamps. And that umbrella made me think of April Showers and then there are the May Flowers so I used some of their darling flowers (Sweetheart Blossom). Then I spied a darling stamp set with birds perched on a sprig that is in bloom. So it all came together.
